my first impression of india was superficial - a lot of traffic and thin cows standing in the middle of the road made me think of a messy and crowded country, a place it could be hard to enjoy and appreciate at its full potential. i actually had to see this chaos to believe it could be real... the stories i was told by my friends weren't enough. it's hard to get used to seeing people everywhere, and the lack of privacy can be hard to accept. but then, when i went beyond these first exterior impressions, i got to see the real india, made of nice people, who welcomed me in their houses and were willing to get a picture together and share a meal. indians are friendly, nice and smiling, and somehow i ended up feeling at home.
some stolen moments here - emotions of india through the lens.
